Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Rizkallah’s uncle is a dentist, and she started working in his dental office each summer starting when she was 16. She continued this while in college and was trained on the job to be a dental assistant. When she graduated, deciding to follow in her uncle’s footsteps was an easy choice.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Rizkallah received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Merrimack College, and she then attended the Boston University School of Dental Medicine, graduating magna cum laude. It was at BU that Dr. Rizkallah met her husband, Dr. Dean Levy, and they are now fortunate enough to dental office together at Devonshire Dental of Boston.
Continuing education has been a very important part of Dr. Rizkallah’s career, and she uses the knowledge she acquires every day when treating her patients. She strives to stay on the cutting edge of technology in dentistry and constantly pushes herself to ensure she is providing the best care possible. She is a certified Invisalign provider and is trained to administer Botox and dermal fillers. She is also an active member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, and a Spear Study Club.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Rizkallah comes from a large, tight-knit Lebanese family, and she and Dr. Levy have two small children of their own. So, the majority of her free time is spent taking care of or visiting loved ones. She also enjoys doing anything artistic as well as traveling.
